Haryana additional chief secretary (power and renewable energy) Rajan Kumar Gupta along with MKV Rama Rao, MD HPGCl and JP Agrawal, director (technical) HPGCl visited Faridabad Gas Power Station recently.
The dignitaries visited the 5 MW solar plant and took keen interest in its functioning. Then they visited the control room of the gas plant. This was followed by an interaction of the visiting top officials with the senior executives of Faridabad Gas Power Station in which the additional chief secretary (power) emphasised the importance of Faridabad Gas Power Station for meeting the energy needs of the state.
In his address the additional chief secretary (power) highlighted how NTPC has achieved operational efficiency and maintained the financial health by paying focussed attention to three P’s — productivity, profitability and people. While praising NTPC for community development initiatives he added that the power station involvement with the community will earn goodwill from the local community.
