The secretary of the social service organisation, Tapsil Jati Adibasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Bikash Kendra in Kolkata, Soumen Koley said that they have successfully implemented various welfare projects of the government like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Kanyashri, Nirmal Bangala Abhiyan on state as well national level. “We are committed towards the implementation of welfare schemes of the government,” he said. He added that the government is supportive towards all their endeavours.
Soumen also said that some persons are using the name of the organisation not for common cause but for self gratification. He alerted common people from such persons.
More than seven lakh active members of this organisation is continuously working for the betterment of the society in the 204 blocks of the 18 districts of the West Bengal for around 35 years. s
