Neha Dhupia finally makes her debut in television with Roadies X4. She tells Arjita Mishra that the show is all about learning from life and courage under fire
After winning the title of Miss India in the year 2002, actress Neha Dhupia never looked back. From her first film, Qayamat: City Under Threat, she managed to make her own space in the Indian film Industry. After serving almost a decade in Bollywood, she is all set to make her television debut with the most popular reality show Roadies X4.
At the show, she will be seen as one of the gang members and would be sharing the stage with Karan Kundra, Rannvijay Singh and the winner of Roadies X2, Prince Narula.
When we asked her, why did she choose to be a part of the show, she said, “I have always been a fan of the show and when I got the offer and as being a fan of something, which I have watched earlier, I had to accept the offer.”
She told us that the contestants belong to different parts of the country and it helped her to learn several things from them. “For me, the most amazing thing on the show is that it is driven by youth, made by the youth. It is something which you can do without having any experience of the show. The show will teach you everything. The show is about adventure and I think everyone should do it,” said Dhupia.
She said that everyone should be independent and should follow their heart to achieve their dreams. “You should be fearless in your life. I have taken my professional decision without any fear. It is about all learning from your life and that is what I have learnt from this show,” she explained.
Telling about her co- actors, she said, “I have four fantastic co-gang leaders and Karan Kundra is amazing. On the show, he was always there for the help, he himself is the pillar of the show and he has never made me feel that he is part of the show from many years. And, Prince Narula — there is no task that he cannot do, he is fearless. I am so happy that I have been a part of these gang leaders. I am still in touch with all of them. And, they all have special quality.”
On asking her that whether she will continue doing TV shows, she replied, “I would like to do if I get something like this, but I will never stop working in films.”
