Kedar Kashyp Minister of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Department, OBC and Minorities Development and School Education Department, Chhattisgarh called on Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment to discuss matters relating to hostel facility for scheduled caste students of Chhattisgarh. Gehlot said that the proposal has been sent to Finance Ministry for want of funds in the mentioned scheme. The minister from Chhattisgarh also raised issues relating to playground for SC students, scheme for persons with disabilities and senior citizen.
P Rajavelu, Minster of Welfare and Tourism, Pudducheri also called on Thaawar Chand Gehlot and sought his help to increase the fund for scholarship schemes for SC and backward class students. The minister also requested Gehlot to help him in establishing old age homes for senior citizens.
Rajavelu also called on Sudarshan Bhagat, Minister of State, Social Justice and Empowerment.
