Beyond the cycle of birth and death

If one day, the sun does not rise, the day will be covered with intense darkness. Knowledge of the four Vedas, which emanates directly from God, is also like the sun. If one doesn’t have the knowledge of Vedas, then automatically, people will also indulge in darkness and a world of illusions. It is said that even after the Mahabharata war, the sun of Vedas had set down and hence, it created an illusion.

Today, people are so attracted towards materialism and in flaunting their luxurious lifestyles, that they completely leave behind spirituality and until death. A very few people know about the secret of one of the mantras of Yajurveda that at the time of death, soul remembers the name of God, his form and the deeds done by the soul from childhood, on which the soul repents, gets extremely sorrowful that he had indulged in illusion and has wasted his valuable life in falsehood.

Vyas Muni ji in Mahabharata makes us understand that one day everyone will have to meet death and Vedas should be followed to overcome death. The Atharvaveda preaches to get progress in both materialism and Vedic spiritualism simultaneously as it is believed that one-sided progress is harmful. With Rigveda, the man comes under God’s protection.

Once, Albert Einstein was asked by an American reporter during the time of his death, ‘Sir, you are the greatest scientist of this country, what is your last desire and if you are reborn then what would you like to be?’ Einstein thought for sometime and replied, ‘I would like to be anyone except a scientist.’ When the reporter heard the reply, he was surprised. He questioned again, ‘This is so astonishing. After such successful inventions, why do you say so?’ Einstein slightly smiled and said, ‘I have researched on several scientific matters and spent my whole life doing that. But today, at the time of death, I have discovered the truth. I would leave with empty hands. And here is only one truth that is left — ‘Who made Einstein?’ I have worked on so many matters but failed to discover myself. I feel sorry that I didn’t pay attention to the discovery of soul and the god. If there is a rebirth, I pray to god that in it, I become a self-explorer and a successful saint who can discover what life is. I want to know the greatest power that god is and attain self-realisation.’

His thoughts conclude that no matter how great titles or heights one might achieve, her/his purpose of existence shall never be completed if s/he doesn’t discover god and the soul. His thoughts tally with what Vedas preach. He stated that whatever we discover, god already knows it. As per the Yajurveda, birth in human life is meant to discover who you are.

Einstein’s words might have been remembered by a few people for some time but eventually, the thought was ignored since today, people run only behind money and materialism more than spirituality. Humans have forgotten the Vedic path and god.
