With a vision to nurture the talent of people, Tata Power Delhi Distribution limited (TPDDl) in association with GD Goenka World School and lancaster University organised a cultural event for people residing in JJ cluster at Keshavpuram on the occasion of Tata Volunteering Week 2015. TPDDl also signed an MoU with lancaster University and GD Goenka World Institute to conduct various volunteering and cultural programs in JJ clusters and identify the hidden talent. The event was volunteered by TPDDl employees and JJ Clusters’ Brand Ambassadors.
The event turned out to be a big success and more than 100 people from JJ cluster including students of lancaster University and G.D. Goenka World Institute participated in various CSR and cultural activities like best out of waste competition, solo dance, drawing competition et al. Judges appreciated all the participants and winners were given gift from TPDDl. In a bid to engage the community at large particularly JJ colonies, TPDDl plans to join hands with as many clusters as possible and host more such CSR and cultural events.
