Kumar Sanu revealed, on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, that he wanted to take revenge from Anu Malik who didn’t let him sing the rap of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhen. By Team Viva
Last month, Zee TV returned with its most iconic, longest-running singing reality show that has stayed relevant to music lovers across the country, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021. With a rich legacy of over 25 years, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been successful in discovering some truly invaluable gems of the music fraternity. The show started off with a bang and the talented contestants of this season have already managed to impress the audience. However, viewers are in for a special treat this weekend.
The upcoming romantic special episode will have music maestros and veteran singers, Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, as the special guests. While they thoroughly enjoyed all the performances by the contestants, Yumna Ajin’s rendition to the song Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen caught Kumar Sanu’s attention the most, which was crooned by Kumar Sanu and Anu Malik in the movie, Baazigar. In fact, Sanu went on stage and recreated the song to mainly sing the rap part of it. He shared a few anecdotes from the time of their recording of the song.
Talking about his song, Sanu said, “I actually wanted to take revenge from Anu Malik. He didn’t let me sing the rap part of the song. I could have done it easily, but he didn’t let me do it. Since then, I always wanted, from the bottom of my heart, to take revenge on him by singing the rap part. And today my revenge is completed on these sets.”
Snigdhajit’s soulful rendition of the song Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi Mein Aana from the movie Aashiqui also cannot be missed.
