The Free legal Aid Clinic is set up to promote an inclusive legal system in order to ensure fair and meaningful justice to the marginalised and disadvantaged sections of the society. The clinic will bridge the gap between the legally available benefits and the entitled beneficiaries thereby bringing the indecency at the doorstep of every needy. The clinic was inaugurated by Talwant Singh, ld District and Session Judge (HQ)/Chairperson, Central DlSA and Nidhi Shrivastava, District Magistrate (Central District).

The Karol Bagh SDM office is the first office in entire Delhi to start with a Free legal Aid Clinic and on seeing the response it’s expected to be replicated in entire Delhi. The clinic will help in strengthening the system of lok Adalats and other Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanisms and will provide informal, quick  and inexpensive resolution for the disputes of the indigent and underprivileged sections of the society thereby minimising the burden of adjudication on the over burdened judiciary.
