Gauri Shankar, managing director and CEO of Punjab National Bank addressed the town hall meeting, held at Manekshaw Auditorium in New Delhi. The meeting was attended by more than 1,000 employees of the bank working in different branches in Delhi and Noida area. The meeting was aimed to motivate human resource to excel in performing customer service. It was a highly interactive session with staff members, highlighting the need of better customer service, NPA reduction, business growth and credit dispensation. The performance of four circles — North Delhi, Central Delhi, South Delhi and Noida circle was discussed and suggestions of the staff for further improvement for business growth were also initiated. On this occasion, Rajesh Yaduvanshi, field general manager, Delhi, highlighted the strength of the bank and shared his views to take the bank forward. The meeting had a very positive impact on staff members. PNB is holding similar town hall meetings at many centres for overall development of human resources.
