The Rajasthan Housing Board seized 40 truck building materials collected with the intention of illegal construction

Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora informed that the Rajasthan Housing Board, while taking major action in the high profile Shri Ram Colony B located in Krishna Kunj Yojna, unclaimed land on B-2 bypass, Tonk road, seized 40 truck building materials collected with the intention of illegal construction.

He said that in compliance with the order passed by the High Court on December 9, the building material like bricks, gravel, cement, stone and rebar, among others, was taken over by the Rajasthan Housing Board. This action was taken by the Housing Commissioner himself standing. A large number of divisional personnel, police personnel were present during this proceedings. Guards have also been posted here by the Board so that no new construction takes place here.

It is noteworthy that even today this land is in the category of unclaimed land and even if Jawaharpuri Society had acquired this land in 1981, it should have raised objection during the acquisition proceedings in 1991, which was not done. Therefore, in the event of no objection being presented, this land is completely unclaimed.

In the investigation report of the Cooperative Department, it has also come to the notice that Jawaharpuri Society has not shown the purchase of this land from the account holders in its records in 1981, which further proves that the agreement and further proceedings are not correct. Against this, the Housing Board has lodged an FIR under 420 against the office bearers of Jawaharpuri Society at Jawahar Nagar police station, in which investigation is still going on. The next date in this case is January 10, 2022. The High Court, understanding its seriousness, has listed it as the first case.
