To acknowledge the employees whose alertness and prompt action have resulted in averting a possible accident, Northern Railway honoured the services of twelve of its employees through Safety and Excellence Awards on June 30.
The awards were presented by Anup Sahu, addl general manager, Northern Railway. Also present on this occasion were Naveen Kumar Shukla, chief safety officer, Northern Railway and the principal heads of all departments of Northern Railway.
Among the twelve employees who were felicitated by Anup Sahu for their services are: Karnal Singh, gateman of Delhi division, Gurmail Singh, loco pilot of Ambala division, Chandra Veer Singh, station master, Satyendra Kumar Kushwaha, goods — guard of Ambala division, Parmod Kumar, helper, signal of Firozpur division, Giri Raj, loco pilot Firozpur division, Ajay Pal, token porter, Moradabad division, Bal Singh, loco pilot, Moradabad division, Ravinder lakra, inspector, Delhi division.
