Actress Katrina Kaif is on fire with her hot dance moves in Thugs of Hindostan’s new song Suraiyya. The song, which showcases the fun, teasing chemistry between Aamir and Katrina has wowed everyone for its outstanding choreography and her mind-blowing dancing. Katrina plays the role of Suraiyya — the talented dancer of Hindostan in the film and she casts her spell on Firangi (Aamir) with her looks.
Aamir is all praise for Katrina’s incredible dancing skills in the song. “I love the lyrics of the song. They are really very representative of both Firangi and Suraiyya’s relationship in the film. These are the steps that I wouldn’t have been able to do had I been rehearsing for 10 years but somehow, she manages to pull them off (laughs),” says Aamir.
The song has been choreographed by Prabhudheva, who always sets a benchmark in his innovative choreography. It has Aamir, dressed as a British captain, having the guts to woo Katrina in front of British officers. Katrina feels that Suraiyya has been one of her toughest songs till date. She says, “It’s a song which I really love. There is a lot of heart in it and personality. Most importantly, for me, it’s an original song. When I saw the choreography I found it fantastic, but also realised that it was very tough. The moves were extremely fast yet so fluid, and really challenging. It is dance and comedy at the same time which makes it really interesting.”
Composed by the duo Ajay-Atul and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Dangal fame, Fatima Sana Sheikh in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on November 8, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
