You surely need more than luck to win some brainy contest that promises you a flashy tour. Delhi-based IT professional Manish Maini seems to have the know-how to crack such contests. Manish will be travelling to New York City and that’s his prize for winning the Most Valuable Fan contest which was conducted on Sony Six in association with National Basketball Association (NBA).
The contest was held in two stages, in the first stage the users were asked to answer correctly any two of the five questions related to NBA which were aired during the live games on Six. “Participants could either SMS the answer or could log on to social media pages and answer the question. The question was open only during the live broadcast of the match. I followed the game religiously and not only that I followed it on Twitter and Facebook as well. What I really liked about this contest was that it was transparent and nothing was hidden from the viewers. I kept track of the contest and I have been a part of many contests and I know how to follow them rigorously,” shared Manish, who will get a chance to meet one of NBA’s most illustrious teams, The Chicago Bulls. He will also visit the city’s most iconic landmarks like Rockefeller Center and Times Square. “I have been playing basket ball and I am a huge fan, therefore it was not difficult for me to get the answers of most of the questions,” said Manish, who will be leaving for New York City on April 3. “I have been to UK, but never thought that I would get a chance to visit New York like this,” he said.
