New Apple iPad Pros and Macs go on sale in India
Apple updated its entire Mac line up in June and it also launched a new 10.5 inch version of the iPad Pro.The iPad Pro 10.5 starts at Rs 50,800 for the Wi-Fi version with 64GB of storage and Rs 61,400 for the cellular version. The iPad Pro 12.9 starts at Rs 63,500 and Rs 74,100 for the Wi-Fi and cellular versions. The new Macbooks and iMacs which have been updated with faster Intel Kabylake processors and latest graphics cards. All these are available in India from today at Apple authorised resellers across the country.
Four airlines including Emirates, Etihad removed laptop ban from US
As a security measure, the United States had imposed an electronics ban on several airlines based in the Middle-East known more commonly as the laptop ban. This prevented passengers flying on these airlines to the US from carrying any electronic items larger than a mobile phone. This caused a lot of confusion and hassle for passengers as laptops had to be placed in check-in luggage and could not be carried in hand. The good news is that after working with the relevant authorities four airlines have been removed from the laptop ban. Eithad was removed from the ban followed by Emirates, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways.
