Quality Circle ‘Jyotikiran’ of NTPC Faridabad has represented NTPC in the International Convention of Quality Control Circle 2013 (ICQCC 2013) held at Taipei, Taiwan which was hosted by The Association of Pioneer Quality Control Research (PQCRA).
ICQCC is a worldwide major event in Quality Control Circle (QCC) activities, which is a great help to promote and implement QCC activities in each country.
Total 300 quality circles from 13 countries participated in the convention.The countries are USA, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Bangladesh, Japan, Korea, Hongkong, Singapore, Indonesia and China.
The team comprises of CB Prasad, team leader, PK Sharma, team dy leader, HK Gupta, team member and Nirbhay Kumar, team member. The team was represented by AA Usmani, additional general manager and GKVivek, as the facilitator.
Quality Circle ‘Jyotikiran’ has presented their case study titled “Interruption in Natural Gas Supply to Gas Turbines” in the convention and awarded with ‘Excellence Award’ Earlier, the Quality Circle Team ‘Jyotikiran’ had participated in the National Quality Convention and won first position among all NTPC Stations on March 2.
