A blood donation camp was organised at Dwarka campus of the IP University by the Centre of Disaster Management Studies (CDMS) in collaboration with Red Cross Society of India.
The students and staff members of the University actively participated in the camp. Over 100 units of blood were collected and handed over to the Red Cross Society. The director of CDMS, prof Amarjeet Kaur, informed that there is a shortage of over one lakh units of blood for patients in Delhi and NCR. Many accident victims, innocent children suffering due to shortage of blood.
