Sushant Global Center for IPR Education and Research was recently inaugurated at Ansal University, Gurgaon
With the objective of undertaking advanced study and research in the emerging areas of IPR with an inter-disciplinary approach, Sushant Global Center for IPR Education and Research was inaugurated at the School of law, Ansal University, Gurgaon.
The inauguration was done by former external affairs minister and former law and justice minister Salman Khurshid. He expressed his pleasure at this initiative by the institution and said that this was a timely and appropriate recognition of critical topic of IPR.
The inauguration ceremony was presided by the chancellor of Ansal University, Sushil Ansal, who said that this centre will promote critical thinking in the area of IPR, which is a burning topic of today. In his welcome note, Raj S Dhankar, vice-chancellor, Ansal University, spoke about the growth and potential of law education in India. He said that the School of law aims to impart quality legal education and produce world class professionals, scholars and academicians in the field of law. The centre will endeavour to sensitise the application and enforcement of IPR in fair manner and conduct research projects.
