Harshad Arora recently got evicted from Khatron Ke Khiladi 6. The actor tells D Kaushik that though the show was extremely challenging, he is game to be a part of it again

Short and sweet — that’s how actor Harshad Arora describes his brief stint in adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 6. The actor was recently evicted from the show after he took the longest time to complete the task that required him to find the key in the coffin full of cockroaches. It is not that the actor is afraid of creepy-crawlies, it was a bit of misfortune that led to his elimination from the show. “My key got stuck and that took me longer than other contestants,” says the actor. Apart from that he says that he was the first one to perform most of the tasks and that was a disadvantage. “Co-incidentally I was the first one to perform most of the tasks, which was not easy.

I didn’t know what was coming my way and got no time at all to prepare myself mentally to do it. I think I easily got into the danger zone because of this factor,” he adds. But he has no regrets as he says he performed to the best of his ability. “Moreover I am glad that I got to be a part of this show and challenged myself at such an extreme level. I had great fun shooting in Cape Town. And the best part was meeting Rohit Shetty. He might look strict and tough but he is a man with a golden heart,” says he.

Harshad has always loved adventure and that was one of the reasons he opted for the show. After being a part of it, he feels that he has been able to discover a few facts about his own self. “The tasks are such that they test your mental and physical strength and give you that edge of adrenaline rush. When I performed the task where the body had to bear the electric shock, I was stunned by the magnitude of shocks that my body could take,” he says. On who is the most strong contender on the show, he says, “It is unpredictable.

Each day someone or the other emerges as the strong contender. Each day is different and a lot depends on the kind of tasks that you are asked to perform.” After trying his luck in the reality show, Harshad will soon be back on the small screen. “I want to get back to acting as that is my passion. I have been in talks for a few shows and things will materialise soon. But if I will ever get a chance again to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi I will never say a no. Unlike other reality shows, this is not about drama, but action and that is something that I really look forward to,” he ends.
