Ailing Irrfan promotes film
Karwaan Producer Priti Rathi Gupta says ailing actor Irrfan Khan, despite his illness, is quite actively promoting the film on social media and his loyal fans are waiting for the movie to be released. Irrfan, who is undergoing treatment in london for a tumour, is unable to be physically present for promotions. “Irrfan is actively supporting and promoting the film. I know he is going through a journey and we miss him around. But social media helps in this case,” said Priti. Karwaan releases on August 3.
‘The biggest dilemma was what and how to tell him (son) about my cancer. But he took the news so maturely and instantly became my source of strength. I believe that it is imperative to keep kids involved in such a situation. They are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for.’

Actress Mona Singh wants to try everything in her life, she said, “I want to start a cafe of my own. I want to try everything in one life. Whatever works, good and whatever doesn't work, I will learn. Nowadays everybody is getting health-conscious. I am not talking about that, but something which is organic. I enjoy creating stuff in my kitchen, so it won't be that tough.” Her to-do list also includes donning the producer's hat. She said, “I want to produce something on the digital platform. Maybe, I will start with a short story and try a series. I haven't given it a solid thought. I have an idea, which I would love to do.” Mona is currently seen in series titled Yeh Meri Family, streamed on TVF Play app.
