Dia keen to make a biopic
Actress-producer DIA MIRZA, revelling in the success of Sanju, says she wants to make a biopic on the life of eminent painter Amrita Sher-Gil. “I am intrigued by many true life stories. I think in our country, there are many which can be converted into films. If I would have to do any biopic, then I would make a biopic on Amrita Sher-Gil because she was an artist. She made her mark globally through her art but she passed away at a young age and she was also fond of children,” said Mirza.
‘Sacred Games turned out to be a challenging experience. Playing a transgender isn’t easy as there are hardly any references that you can source out and seek help from. I went by my gut instinct and tried doing what I was told to on the set. I hope the audience likes my performance.’

Actress RADHIKA APTE says if she woke up as superstar Shah Rukh Khan, she would experiment a lot more with films. “I’ll experiment a lot more with films because I think Shah Rukh is an amazingly versatile actor and that’s exactly how he started his career. He experimented across different genres and that’s what I’ll do if I ever woke up as him,” says Radhika.
Sacha mocks at Trump’s project
Actor-comedian SACHA BARON COHEN has posted a teaser for a new project that appears to take on US President Donald Trump. “He’s back as you’ve never seen him before.” The words are interspersed with a “Happy Fourth of July,” message from Trump and footage of the President saying “Sacha Baron Cohen, go to school! learn about being funny”.
“Sacha graduates soon,” the teaser said while ending with a title card for Trump University that uses the actual logo for the defunct real estate training school. Baron Cohen and Trump have a long and antagonistic relationship.
Currently, Baron is shooting Netflix series The Spy, written and directed by Gideon Raff.
