I don’t want to be typecast: Varun
Actor Varun Dhawan, who made his Bollywood debut with an out-and-out commercial film Student of the Year has experimented with a serious avatar in Badlapur and in the upcoming film October, he is not open to the idea of being typecast.
Said Varun Dhawan, “Whether it’s going to be a Hindi film, a commercial film, an art film, or whatever... Whatever role I do should entertain people and that’s what I set out to do. As a person, I cannot stay on one movie for very long and if I do a very serious film, I need to do a comedy film.”
The actor is currently in the national capital to shoot his new film Sui Dhaaga with Anushka Sharma.
‘Even today, some schools do not have toilets and other necessities. This is the reason why students drop out. The government’s slogan of ‘Beti Padhao Beti Bachao’ has been going on for years, it must become reality now’

Actress Emily Blunt says it was exciting to work with husband and actor John Krasinski in film A Quiet Place. What I fell in love with in the screenplay is that I felt it touched on some of my deepest fears as a mother of not being able to protect your children. The stakes are so sky-high in this story I was racing to read to the end.
I just loved the depth and beauty of the story, which goes beyond the horror movie atmosphere. And John and I had never worked together so that was exciting,” added the mother of two.
The film is slated to open in India April 6.
Aguilera wants her kids to be confident
Singer Christina Aguilera says she wants her children to be very confident about themselves.
Aguilera has two children — Max, 10, with American music producer Jordan Bratman and Summer, 3, with guitarist Matthew Rutler.
She hopes her daughter Summer won’t be easily swayed by outside opinion when she grows up.
“I don’t want to inject too much upon her as to how I’m choosing to live my life and what I’ve done in my career. I just hope I can allow what I’m doing to influence her to be her own person. That’s truly what I hope for her, she said. “I really want to make sure my children are both very confident in the sense that they know who they are and that they won’t be easily swayed by outside opinion.”
