‘No romance in Padmavati’

Filmmaker Sanjay leela Bhansali has rubbished rumours and reports of a romantic dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and the invader Allauddin Khilji in his forthcoming movie Padmavati.

“There is no interaction whatsoever between the characters played by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh,” Bhansali said.

A video recording by Bhansali declaring zero interaction between Rani Padmavti and Khilji is expected to be put out.

A source close to Bhansali said: “We've been going hoarse saying there is absolutely no dream sequence featuring Deepika and Ranveer. They haven't shot together in Padmavati for a single day. We don't know who started this rumour of the two being together.

‘We all are human beings, we all have the same rights and we all are equal. There is no difference between you and me or anybody else, and sometimes we forget that. Because of our ego and things we own — like a house, car and stuff, once we get them, we start to think, we are bigger than rest. But it’s not like that.’

Deschanel gets to ‘food's roots'

Actress Zooey Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik are sharing the importance of “know it or grow it” in their new educational series Your Foods Roots with Zooey Deschanel.

When Deschanel got pregnant with their first child, Elsie Otter, 2, the pair began to research whether or not the food they had been consuming all of these years would be “the best thing for our child's brain.”

“When I started looking into where our food was coming from, we all of a sudden started seeing all this opaqueness. There were all these walls to finding out where your food came from, but that is a part of how we socialise, how we interact with our peers,” said Deschanel about how being a mother has changed the way she sees food.
