‘Haven't faced casting couch’

Kriti Sanon  might be only four films old in Bollywood but she is busy carving out a place for herself in the Hindi film industry and that too, without the help of a godfather. Her last release Bareilly Ki Barfi is still making money at the box office and is a proof of her success.

“I think the casting couch does exist, but not just in Bollywood. Fortunately, I have not faced it. I was signed by an agency, and thankfully nothing of this sort happened to me,” shared Sanon who spoke at length at Mind Rocks 2017, an event  was organised by a media house.

However, the actor feels strongly about body shaming, “Body shaming happens more for girls and actresses in comparison to men and actors.”

‘I've done so many shows – world tours, stadiums, sports arenas, you name it – that I feel like I have to reinvent that now too. This is something I'm exploring right now: the idea of doing a show that doesn't travel the world but stays in one place and utilises not only humour and the music in a more intimate setting.’

Actor Tiger Shroff says he would love to feature in a biopic on football star Cristiano Ronaldo. At the launch of Futsal Season 2 here on Friday, where he was present to support his team Mumbai Warriors, the actor was asked which footballer's biopic does he want to see in future and which footballer's biopic would he like to do himself. Tiger said, “There are quite a few films made on footballers. There is a legend who has come down here, Ronaldinho (Brazil), so a film should be made on his struggle and the background from where he comes from.”

Demi mum on her sexual orientation

Singer-actress Demi lovato declined to offer any specifics about her sexuality, but said she plans to answer some questions on the matter in an upcoming documentary.

She was talking about her YouTube documentary Demi lovato: Simply Complicated.

In an interview with lGBT news outlet PrideSource, lovato said she prefers to keep her romantic life private.

“I just feel like everyone's always looking for a headline and they always want their magazine or TV show or whatever to be the one to break what my sexuality is. I feel like it's irrelevant to what my music is all about,” lovato said.
