‘People's love means the most’

Alia Bhatt says that though content is the king, people's love for her and her films “means the most” to her.

“Content is King. So if your film is good, it will do well but for me it's all about the love. I am not completely close to criticism. I don't read too many reviews but sometimes people send me things and I read it. I feel it is important to get the love but also get the hate; you have to balance it out,” she said when asked to choose between commercial success or critical acclaim.

“Somebody may like your film and somebody may not like it, you have to be completely open about it. So I am open to that,” she added.

‘I am a little busy these days. I have to make a conscious decision to give my time to something. I am very clear that I could not give too much time to work as I also have a daughter.  I already have a handful of things in my kitty. I like to take on only as much as I can handle.’| Shruti Seth

Kanye West will not go ahead with European shows as he is still battling with health issues. A month after cancelling the remaining North American dates of his Saint Pablo Tour, a source close to the rapper has shared that he won't return to the stage any time soon. There were reports that the overseas leg of the tour has been cancelled. But the source said: “It was never confirmed, never announced, hence not cancelled.”

Sex and the City 3 gets go-ahead

Sarah Jessica Parker has reportedly signed up for Sex and the City 3. The actress who starred as Carrie Bradshaw on the iconic TV show and movies, is expected to start filming on the romantic comedy movie sequel along with Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte). “All the women are officially signed up for Sex and the City 3. The deal is done and the script has been approved by all the women,” said a source. Parker came close to skipping the third reunion over issues with the script, but it's understood that “tweaks” have been made to persuade her to get on board.

“Parker was not originally on board because she didn't like the idea of the characters being portrayed in a more mature light.

“Everyone's happy with how things have turned out and they can't wait to get started working together again,” the source added.
