‘Award functions are rehearsed’

Vaani Kapoor finds award functions ‘rehearsed’, and she doesn't like the energy there. “I don't like the energy at award shows. It's rehearsed and everybody is just focused on themselves and nobody wants to genuinely applaud for anyone else. People aren't even listening if someone is giving a speech on stage,” said Vaani. The actress will be seen next in Befikre opposite Ranveer Singh. “I wish this (Befikre) had happened earlier. I was living alone, with no family and friends. When you feel low and down, you don't know whom to talk to and go out with. I didn't have anyone I could depend on that way,” she said.

‘I like Swami ji but I think he will be a trouble for me in the house. I find Rohan annoying; he is very kid–like. I think Bigg Boss is a great platform and I hope it boosts my career after. I have no plans and strategies, I am going to be myself.’ | sahil anand

Sanjay leela Bhansali has left no stone unturned in terms of the set and art design and recently recreated the inside of Chittorgarh Fort for the song Ghoomar. The ghoomar came to be known as a royal dance, one every bride who gets into the royal family performs. The entire set for the song took approximately 40 days to erect, with over a hundred people involved in the setup.

‘Pushed limits for la la land’

Ryan Gosling had fun working on the musical la la land  said learning his lines, songs, dance routines, jazz piano and the keytar was a lot to take in.

“Trying to fit the keytar into my schedule of things I had to learn was pretty funny. But we were all being pushed to our limits to see what we were capable of. We worked for three months on, for instance, one number that happens at sunset where it starts as a scene, then it becomes a song, and then it's a dance and then it's a scene again and it all happens in one take,” he said.
