Anil buys rights of Prison Break
After 24 and Modern Family, Bollywood actor-producer Anil Kapoor has now acquired the rights of another American TV series Prison Break.
“I always go with my gut feeling. I know people will like it. We will adapt it to suit Indian sensibilities. It's one of my most favourite shows. I am truly excited,” Anil said in a statement.
Prison Break, which is now gearing up for its fifth season, revolves around two brothers. One has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit while the other devises an elaborate plan to help him escape and clear his name.
Sharing more about the show, the actor said, “The show is about sibling love. It has just the right amount of emotions and of course some mind-blowing action.
In the past, films like Do Aankhen Barah Haath and Umar Qaid, which revolved around jailbreak, have been appreciated by the audience.”

Salman Khan, who will be performing at the forthcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, says the audience should not expect him to dance like actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
“I haven't thought about it yet. let's see how it goes. I am sure it will be fine. But don't expect Hrithik Roshan or Tiger Shroff kind of performance from me. It will be different,” he said.
Hailey denies feud with Selena
Model Hailey Baldwin has shot down rumours that she is feuding with singer Selena Gomez over pop star Justin Bieber.
“I think it sucks that people try to start things like that. There's never any truth to that, first of all,” Baldwin said. “She's a lovely girl. She's very kind. Her and I have a lot of mutual friends and it's all cool between everybody. We run in the same circles,” she added.
Rumours about Gomez, who is Bieber's former girlfriend, and Baldwin's feud started a few months ago, after the model went public with Bieber in January. They were photographed together numerous times on multiple occasions. Some of the images showed the duo getting close and even kissing.
