Wazir makers cut sensuous scenes
Wazir could have featured sensuous and passionate lovemaking scenes between actors Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari, but the film's makers chose to cut them out to avoid ‘conflict’ with the censor board.
“As part of the film, the duo shot for some very hot and steamy love-making scenes. Whoever had seen the outcome of it felt that they were extremely sensuous and passionate,” a source said, adding that the reason for these cuts was the expected censor board issues.
In an earlier screening, there was a long discussion on the scenes and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra did not want any conflicts with the censor board for the film.
And understandably so, since the censor board has been either snipping or shortening kissing scenes from films like Spectre and Chauranga.
Thus, to avoid any issues, the scenes were cut from the Wazir by the filmmakers themselves, before the final screening for the censor board.
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Wazir stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles.
The film, distributed by Reliance Entertainment, will release on January 8.

I feel whenever there are two people who are strong and close to each other, there is a section of people who are never happy. My equation with him has moved to his kids now. I tell him, ‘I am going to maintain my youth quotient only because I want to launch Aryan. No one else can launch Aryan but me (smiles).”
lawrence plans Irish road trips
Hunger Games co-stars Jennifer lawrence and Natalie Dormer are planning to take a road trip together in Ireland.
The actresses have become good friends while working together on the franchise. lawrence has said that Dormer wants to take her to Ireland and show her the sights as she has spent a great deal of time there filming The Tudors and Game of Thrones.
“Natalie (Dormer) adores Ireland and talks about it all the time,” lawrence said to an English daily.
“And I've never been so we're hoping to do a trip, even a cool road trip there next year. She's been talking about it and saying ‘C'mon Jen, I know you'd love it', and I think it could be fun.’”
“Natalie did The Tudors for a few years and is back and forth all the time, so I'll have a proper guide. Off the beaten track, it won't be the blind leading the blind,” she added.
lawrence has insisted that if she does visit Ireland with Dormer, she has a long list of things she wants to do.
“If we do it, I'd want to see everything, all the touristy stuff, wear those big green hats and go to pubs. Definitely drink Guinness and go to the Guinness factory. You know, I'm going all in,” she added.
