Craig is open to West playing Bond
Amidst growing speculation about the successor to Daniel Craig in the James Bond franchise, the actor has said that he is fine if rapper-designer Kanye West plays the role of the fictional superspy. The actor, who has already hinted that a woman or a black actor may be playing the role of the James Bond character in the next movie, says that if it is West then he should be brought on board now.
Irritated with the endless speculation about his successor — especially as he's yet to call time on his tenure as Bond, the 47-year-old quipped: “You know Roger Moore's also 200-1IJ So too David Beckham. Whatever... on the list of my priorities this is not even near the bottom.” Perhaps his irritability when talking about his successor stems from the pressure he is under for the upcoming film “Spectre”.
