Akshay’s tribute to Bhagat Singh
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who is promoting his forthcoming film Singh Is Bliing, will pay homage to Bhagat Singh, one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement, on his birth anniversary.
Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, and was hanged on March 23, 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukhdev in lahore prison.
Akshay, along with the team of Singh is Bliing, including lara Dutta, Amy Jackson and director Prabhudheva will be remembering the “real Singh” at a charitable event The event will be organised by Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, a unit of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal. This year, Akshay will attend the event in his ‘Singh’ avatar, wearing a turban.

In his forthcoming film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karun, Kapil Sharma, has three on screen wives and a girlfriend. “I am playing a character whose name is SRK (Shiv Ram Kishan), who gets married to three girls accidently. He has a girlfriend whom he loves and wants to marry. It is the story about how well I manage and coordinate with all of them,” said Sharma.
Sharma even told us that he came into comedy accidently. “I have done serious theatre in Delhi. I became a comedian accidently,” he said.
Calvin Harris to propose to SwiftIJ
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris is reportedly planning to propose to singer Taylor Swift by October-end with a $1.4 million engagement ring. A source close to Harris, who was spotted shopping for jewellery, said: “He wanted something ‘very special’ for Taylor. He was asking about the best cuts and eyed a ring that (cost) $1.4 million! He was clearly eager to get the perfect rock, no matter the cost.” While they have not been in a relationship for very long, the singer’s friends believe she’s ready to take the next step. “She’s not shy about telling anyone who’ll listen that she loves him, and she’s not being coy around him either. At a recent dinner, she blurted it out and asked if he’d ever consider marrying her!” an insider said.
