Manisha to help quake victims
Manisha Koirala has announced her support for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) as its Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal to work for pregnant women, new mothers and their infants, girls and young people displaced by the devastating earthquake of April 25.
“I am truly happy to renew my partnership with UNFPA in my homeland at this crucial time,” said Koirala, adding that UNFPA's life-saving interventions were needed more than ever.
“I am struck by the impact UNFPA's work is already having in several of the most-affected districts. Dignity kits are reaching thousands of women and girls, and UNFPA's work is expanding in the days and weeks ahead. It’s essential to protect women’s dignity,” she said.

Director Shoojit Sircar's Piku has got a thumbs up not just from the film fraternity and critics but also movie buffs. lilo’s set for community service
Having been warned by the court, actress lindsay lohan is scheduled to return to New York City to complete her remaining hours of community service. The 28-year-old is set to begin her community service today. A los Angeles court ordered lohan to do 125 hours of community service as part of her probation in February, due to her reckless driving case in 2012. The Mean Girls star has completed nine hours and 45 minutes of her community service so far. Earlier this month, the star posted a picture on Instagram showing her community service work in london. lohan was ordered to do the remaining hours of community service at a preschool in Brooklyn, Duffield Children's Center. Otherwise, it is not counted as community service. The deadline of the completion was set on May 28.
