Big B is not ‘publicity-hungry’
Amitabh Bachchan is furious with some social media users who have accused him of trying to garner ‘publicity’ by writing about the victims of Nepal's devastating earthquake. The 72-year-old actor has been active on Twitter, Facebook and blog, with appeals for help for Nepal relief. But to some, it has appeared to have been done with an agenda.
This has infuriated Big B, and he took to his blog to post: “Some other in the other medium slither in the scum of incognito ed garbage, and wish to learn what I do in capacity of help and care to those that remain stranded and scarred, blemished by nature, as it shakes in its slumber. They comment I write about it for comment and sympathetic publicity. Idiots! They need to be sent to the tube for long hours of investigative procedures, and made to languish in that odoured keechad that colours their insides (sic).”

Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith, who was forced to cancel his Australian tour due to vocal exhaustion, is on the road to recovery and says he is much better.
Smith took to image-sharing website Instagram to let everyone know about the news. “Just to let all my beautiful fans know, I'm ok, I am insanely relaxed and am somewhere in the middle of Australia with no phone, no laptop and I haven't spoken a word in three days,” he wrote. The 22-year-old British singer had been instructed by doctors to rest his voice after suffering a small hemorrhage on his vocal cords. “Trying my absolute best to be back on my feet and singing for next week,” he said.
‘Sophia is a strong woman’
Reese Witherspoon struck a friendship with her Colombian co-star Sofia Vergara on the set of Hot Pursuit, and says she has a huge amount of respect for the Modern Family star. Vergara is currently embroiled in a legal battle with ex-fiancé Nick loeb. When asked about her close bond with Vergara, Witherspoon said: “I like to hang out with other strong women. I only really know strong women. I grew up with strong women in the south and so she's just the same. When I got the chance to meet her and work with her, I was so blown away by her —as an actress, a comedienne and also as a business woman.” Witherspoon thinks the brunette beauty, who is engaged to Magic Mike star Joe Manganiello and has a 23-year-old son from her previous marriage, treats those close to her really well.
