Sonam joins a special campaign
In an effort to promote breast cancer awareness, Sonam Kapoor, who is also the brand ambassador for Elle Breast Cancer Campaign, supported the Ogaan Cancer Foundation with ‘Elle Carnival for a Cause'. A joint initiative by Ogaan Cancer Foundation and Elle Breast Cancer Campaign, the event featured initiatives to promote breast cancer awareness. “It is my privilege to be associated with Ogaan Cancer Foundation and play a part in spreading breast cancer awareness. Everyone seems to know someone with breast cancer — I lost an aunt to it. Detecting cancer early is the only way to fight and that requires awareness about a healthy lifestyle,” she said.

After ruling the hearts of youngsters throughout the country, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has now impressed American electronic music artist Derek Vincent Smith, who performs under the stage name Pretty lights, on his maiden tour in India. Smith “cannot wait” to listen to more of the rapper's creations after he came across his music on the radio. Smith's Indian tour, wherein he performed at le Meridien, Gurgaon and in Pune, is part of Vh1 Supersonic Arcade, which provides an experimental music experience to its audience. “I went out filming and heard an amazing music on the radio and I loved it — Honey Singh. I loved the beats he put in. Cannot wait to hear more of him,” said Smith. He added that he is interested in learning about the current electronic music scene in the country.

Singer Rihanna may appear to lead an exciting life, but she insists she is incredibly “boring” when she isn't working. The Diamonds hitmaker loves travelling the world and having new experiences but insists her life isn't always glamorous as when she isn't working. In fact, she loves nothing more than relaxing in front of the television. Asked about the biggest misconception about her, she said, “That I live an exciting life around the clock. Yes I do love to go out and do things, travel the world and have new experiences but when I get home I'm just so boring. I just want to lie on the couch and watch TV. I love reality TV, movies, documentaries, anything. And late at night, I only watch cartoons because I don't want to get scared.”
