It’s easy to target films: Aamir

Actor Aamir Khan, whose last moviepk got embroiled in multiple controversies before and after its release, feels that films have become soft targets for publicity-hungry people. At an event he was asked to share his thoughts about controversial films that go on to become hits. He said, “When people like a film, then it becomes a hit. When we say ‘hit’, we mean people like it. A hit film is determined in how good you have made it. If you make a bad movie, no matter how well you market it, it will not do well.” He said that Bollywood has become a target for people who want cheap publicity.

Right now I am doing selective work. I don't want to limit myself to just a song. People love me for my dance and I hope that something great comes up soon. If I get a really interesting dance number, I will definitely want to do it | gauhar khan

Hema Malini and Babul Supriyo have recorded a Bengali album of three songs for Saregama India. More than four decades ago, way back in 1973, Malini was inspired by the legendary Kishore Kumar to lend her voice in Bengali. That was how two great Bengali songs written by Mukul Dutta and put to tune by Kumar were successfully recorded. The two songs have withstood the test of time to become an inseparable part of popular Indian music. After a gap of more than four decades, Babul Supriyo has taken the initiative to bring back the two songs after being recreated with contemporary musical arrangement.

Dornan is insecure about his looks

He has flaunted his toned physique in forthcoming film Fifty Shades of Grey, but actor Jamie Dornan says he suffers from “major hang-ups” when it comes to his body. The actor has opened up about his insecurities over his physical appearance. “I think I am like anyone, I have massive hang-ups about my physical appearance. I was always fighting against stuff when I was a kid. I always felt skinny and small. Now, I'm 32 and when I see an image of myself, all I see is this skinny kid and I don't like it,” he said. The 32-year-old, who shot numerous nude scenes for the movie, also said that he didn't believe the appreciation that came his way. “No matter how many times you get filmed with your top off with photographers saying ‘Oh, you look great’, and all that, you have these things in your head — insecurities about yourself,” he said.
