Rani Mukerji, who was lauded for her role as a brave police officer in the film Mardaani, left Bollywood cinema lovers of Poland impressed with her acting skills and with the intricacies of the film which revolves around human trafficking, during the film's premiere at the Muranow theatre.
Addressing the audience she said, “It is a great pity that people are not paying enough attention to the problem of global human trafficking particularly of young girls. If in the 1990s Russian girls were being used in the international market, now Ukrainian, Romanian and Syrian girls are being traded in the world.”

Carey sued by former nanny
Mariah Carey has been sued by a former nanny of her kids, claiming that the singer forced her to work 100 hours per week but refused to pay her any overtime. Simonette DaCosta filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court. The suit claimed that DaCosta “attended to (Mariah's children) needs not only at home, but also during Ms Carey's travels for her global concerts and appearances.” According to the suit, she “was always behind the scenes and often by Ms Carey's.” “Plaintiff was on duty for 24 hour with no entitlement for breaks, meals, and even for sleep. Carey would often call her at hours in the middle of the night and demand to be taken to her children,” the suit further stated.
