Anne Hathaway suggests Neil Patrick not to repeat what she did last year
Actress Anne Hathaway, who hosted the 83rd Annual Academy Awards last year, has faith that Neil Patrick Harris will do a wonderful job this year. She even has some tips for him.
“He’ll be great. He’s a natural host. look at the fabulous job he does with the Tony awards every year,” Hathaway said of Harris in an interview, reports people.com. Sharing her advice for him, she said: “Do the opposite of what I did, and you’ll be fine.” Hathaway and co-host James Franco received criticism for their 2011 Oscar performance.
They were specially criticised for their opening, where they spoofed the year’s top movies. When asked what she thinks she did wrong, she replied: “I think it’s so obvious that it doesn’t even need to be identified.” Harris will hosts the 87th Academy Awards, to be held February 22.c
