‘Govinda is a genuine star’
Saif Ali Khan, who has teamed up with Govinda for the first time in forthcoming romantic-comedy Happy Ending, says the Hero No 1 actor is the most authentic star of the Hindi film industry. Saif, 44, said he felt like a child to share screen space with Govinda as he is a brilliant dancer and actor. “I really respect his work and it's amazing to watch him dance. I was trying to learn something from him. I felt bit of a kid and excited especially when he was dancing. He is a genuine star and I am happy to dance next to him,” said Saif. Govinda, 50, is making a comeback to full-fledged acting after a gap of three years. Next month he would be seen in two back-to-back films — Kill Dill and Happy Ending.
Alia Bhatt’s short film Going Home, based on women’s safety, has been the talk of the town for a while. And now, Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher has praised it too. The Two and a Half Men star shared the link of the video directed by Vikas Bahl on his official Facebook page Monday and wrote: “Wow. Just wow.”
Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, who is directing a film based on Aarushi Muder case, has reportedly teamed up with Tabu again for the film. When asked to confirm the news, Meghna didn't deny the news, but said: “I am unable to comment on that right now. I am extremely sorry.” Sources close to the project, which is scripted by Vishal Bhardwaj who is also co-producing the film, said that Tabu is part of the project titled Talwar along with Irrfan.
Actress Marcia Strassman, known for her roles in Welcome Back, Kotter and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, died. She was 66. Strassman, who was battling breast cancer, died at her home on Friday, confirmed her sister Julie Strassman and friend, director Bob Weide. “She was my idol. She was the funniest, smartest person I knew and she always made me laugh. She was incredibly talented in everything — not just acting and dancing and singing, but she could also sew and knit,” Julie said.

Brad Jackson, who dated actress Jennifer lawrence when she was 12 years old, is now a computer hacker. The 24-year-old actress spoke out against hacking earlier this month after a number of explicit images were stolen from her iCloud account and posted online, but her former boyfriend Brad Jackson, has now confessed he is in the same business. Jackson, a supermarket employee, said of the violation of her privacy: “She's the type of person who would have done a nude scene, but would've wanted to make the decision on her own. The fact a hacker did it (leaked the pictures) was pretty s**tty — but that's the kind of field I'm in,” he said.
