The 36th annual governing body meeting of the Tear Smoke Unit (TSU) of Border Security Force was held at BSF HQrs, CGO Complex under the chairmanship of Devendra Kumar Pathak, IPS, DG, BSF.
The meeting was attended by ADG BPR&D, ADG CRPF, ADG/director BSF Academy and official from Delhi Police, State Police, Ordnance Factories Board, MHA, Ministry of Finance besides Anil Kumar, IPS, IG (Provisioning) and Edwin John Bennet, general manager, Tear Smoke Unit and senior officers of BSF.
Pathak informed that the Tear Smoke Unit has completed more than 38 years of momentous service to the nation and has come a long way since its humble beginning in May 1976. Pathak congratulated the management of TSU for continuing with the past tradition of ensuring highest standards of quality, timely production, introducing innovations and improvement in the field of less lethal munitions.
