‘Haider will open a new chapter’
Shraddha Kapoor says being a part of Vishal Bhardwaj's film Haider will open a new chapter in her nascent career because the director has a reputation for making acclaimed movies.
Shraddha, who has given two back-to-back hits like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, said she feels blessed both her films worked with the audience and hopes to continue the good run with Haider. “This film is definitely going to add much more to my career. I feel it will open a new chapter in my career. Vishal sir has made some iconic films, which are remembered for performances by established actors. I hope the same happens to me as well,” Shraddha said.
“This is my fifth film. The role was difficult and challenging because the character which I am playing is not only of a lover but also of a best friend. It was my first intense role and was the most emotional, moving and challenging experience,” she said.
I have seen amazing Indian clothes and I love traditional Indian saris and Indian wear. Sometimes I use colours that are seen only in Jaipur. I also did khakee in my collection and khakee belongs to India. There is so much of inspiration from India all the time

Chris is ‘having fun’ with Rihanna
Rapper Chris Brown has been “having fun'' with pop star Rihanna but insists their relationship is nothing serious. Brown, who has an on-off relationship with model Karrueche Tran, says that he is enjoying his relationship with his former girlfriend, who he was convicted of assaulting in 2009. “We're friends. Nothing too serious... We're not trying to start a life together right now, we're just having fun,” contactmusic.com quoted Brown as saying. It was believed Drunk Texting, a track on the 25-year-old star's new album X, is about Rihanna, and while Chris insists it isn't, he doesn't mind theories being shared because he thinks it encourages record sales. Asked if the track is about Rihanna, he said: “Oh no, not at all. I think that's just the fans' perception or the media's perception at all times because of our history. But whenever we do music, people can make the assumption and that's fine because if they buy more because they think that, then go ahead and buy a thousand copies.”
