‘I was moved by the play on Daddy’
Father and daughter duo Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt were moved beyond words when a play based on their film Daddy was recently staged in the Capital 25 years after the movie was released. Mahesh Bhatt's protege Imran Zahid played Anupam Kher's role and two young Delhi actresses, Tanya and Simran, essayed Pooja's role in two different stages of the narration. They were moved. Pooja even broke down during the play. “It was sincere and moving. I realised again, not for the first time, that nothing beats a powerful narrative. Daddy had such a moving story. It is relevant to date,” Pooja said. The film was based on Mahesh Bhatt's own battle with alcoholism and his tender relationship with his eldest born Pooja. The filmmaker's best friend Anupam had played him on screen.

Radcliffe rules out Harry Potter roles
Actor Daniel Radcliffe says playing Harry Potter in new movies is not on the cards even though he has spoken about how the boy wizard has influenced his own character. Radcliffe, who is currently starring in the indie romantic-comedy What If, says he and Potter share fiercely loyal sensibilities. Radcliffe was asked whether there was a chance he could reprise his role as Harry Potter, given JK Rowling's new projects in the world of Hogwarts, he straight and directly offered no as an answer. “I'm sure our personalities influenced each other, which sounds crazy because one of us is real and the other isn't,” Radcliffe said. He spoke in-depth about how the character was embedded in himself. He said,“Having spent so much time playing him, his instincts became my instincts, which is not such a bad thing. He's fiercely loyal and curious and brave — and I hope I am.”
