Shraddha Kapoor struggles to dance
Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who will be next seen in dance drama ABCD 2, injured herself during rehearsals for the film. Shraddha plays a dancer, which is a sequel to the 2013 film ABCD. The actress suffered a muscle pull while trying to learn split for one of the scenes. She is currently undergoing physiotherapy sessions and has been advised to take rest for a week. “It was a result of over enthusiasm which led to a partial muscle tear. I guess I have to be a lot more careful while rehearsing because it is very important to understand your body and how much you can push it. But I love dancing so much that I'm praying this injury heals quickly,” Shraddha said. The film is being directed by Remo D'Souza and stars actor Varun Dhawan.
Former soccer star David Beckham has been voted the best male celebrity suit wearer. The 39-year-old stood victorious over American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake and actor George Clooney to top the poll by an online clothing website, for ordering a custom-tailored suit. The poll asked 520 women to choose the male celebrity they thought looked best in a suit. Beckham topped the poll as over a fifth of respondents voted for him.
Actor James Shigeta, 81, best known for his roles in Die Hard and Flower Drum Song, passed away. Shigeta was born in Hawaii and has Japanese ancestry. His agent Jeffrey leavitt said that he died peacefully in his sleep in los Angeles on Monday. The actor rose to prominence in the 1960s with a series of roles and won a Golden Globe for the most promising male newcomer. Shigeta is survived by three brothers and one sister.
Jamie Foxx to play Mike Tyson
Actor Jamie Foxx will reportedly be transformed into Mike Tyson for a new biopic. Foxx, 46, would be transformed by the CGI technology that changed Brad Pitt from an old man to a baby in The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, as per reports. The boxer, 48, who was the youngest heavyweight champion at 20, also said that the Raging Bull director Martin Scorsese, would be involved. Tyson said, “Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion and we gonna do it. Within a year to 18 months, we're going to do the Mike Tyson story and he's going to portray me, and now they have this new animation. You know Jamie's pretty much my age so he can't portray me but they have this new system.” The film may be titled Champion.
