Classic Makeover
Fashion designer Karl lagerfeld will lend his image to a limited edition Barbie doll to celebrate the toy's 55th birthday this year. The legendary fashion designer, who stands as creative director of Chanel and the Italian fashion house Fendi, has had the limited edition toy crafted in his image.
The doll will be launched in autumn by American toy giant Mattel as part of their collector series, and will be dressed in the 80-year-old's signature tailored black jacket, white high-collar shirt, black jeans, necktie, black ankle boots and fingerless gloves.
Dance like Salman!
The forthcoming episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will have Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez promoting movie Kick. The actors had a gala time while shooting the episode. The same will be aired tonight on Colors.
Emmy all over
The 66th Emmy Awards will be simulcast live in India across the Star bouquet of channels viz Star World, Star World HD, Star World Premiere HD, FX and Fox Crime. While Game of Thrones was the most nominated programme with with 19 nominations, celebrated miniseries Fargo received 18 nominations and American Horror Story: Coven that aired on Star World Premiere HD received 17 nominations. Other programmes receiving 10 or more nominations include Breaking Bad, The Normal Heart, Saturday Night live, House of Cards and Downton Abbey.
