Kissing was a bold move: Emraan

Actor Emraan Hashmi is more than happy to hand over his ‘serial kisser' crown to counterparts as well as newcomers and feels that everyone is trying to outdo themselves each time while getting bold on-screen. “It becomes essential that when you are labelled you should spread your wings and stretch your talent. It is not easy and one has to do risky things in their career,” Emraan said. He is known for his bold and intimate scenes in films like Murder, Zeher and Aashiq Banaya Aapne among others which earned him the ‘serial kisser' tag. But now in almost every film, every actor has a similar scene. “I have passed on this (kissing tag) to others. I don't know how far they will push it and shock everyone. When we started we did feel it was a bold move and we were scared how the film will be accepted,” Emraan said.

Sonakshi Sinha announced her association with World Kabaddi league (WKl), for which she has bought the United Singhs team along with Britain's Hayre Group.

She is the third celebrity to associate with the league after Akshay Kumar and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. This is the first time Sonakshi has associated herself with a sport of this kind.

“I am really excited to be part of World Kabaddi league. This is my first such endeavour. Kabaddi is a fast-paced sport and I'm looking forward to some adrenaline rush moments during the league,” Sonakshi said. She is likely to travel along with her team as much as possible for WKl, which will start in london from August 9.

Rihanna lands in online controversy

Singer Rihanna, who made a comment about supporting the freedom of Palestine on Twitter, was quick to delete it — but not before it was retweeted 70,000 times. “#FreePalestine,” Rihanna posted on Twitter. Moments later, she decided to delete the tweet. She never meant to send the tweet out in the first place, said the artist's close friend. “She deleted it because it was never meant to be tweeted. She didn't realise it was a tweet until she started hearing from her fans. She is a person who is pro-peace and doesn't want innocent people dying,” said sources. “let's pray for peace and a swift end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict! Is there any hope,” tweeted the 26-year-old hours after taking down the original tweet.
