Kapil declined Farhan’s film

Kapil Sharma's rise on television from being a stand-up comedian to one of the country's most sought after entertainers is the stuff fairy tales are made of. Having conquered the hearts of many with Comedy Nights With Kapil, he is now ready to try Bollywood with Yash Raj Films' Bank Chor. However, the comic entertainer reveals he is not willing to allow his show to suffer at any cost. “I give my life and blood to the show. Even now as I talk to you I haven't slept for the last 36 hours. I'll never give up the show. I just wanted a break because I was exhausted,” he said. Sharma has also rejected a lot of movie offers in the past. “Before I said yes to Yash Raj's Bank Chor, I turned down some really good film offers including one by Sunil Manchanda the producers of Tere Naam. I also said no to Farhan Akhtar's offer. I felt really awful,” he said.

If there is something and my son wants me to work in it and if I fit the bill, then I would be happy to work. But, if I do not, then he should look for what he wants to do in the best interest of his movie

‘I am quite superstitious’

Singer-fashion designer Victoria Beckham has confessed she is quite superstitious and carries crystals and salutes magpies to dispel any bad luck.

The 40-year-old has a number of superstitious rituals, including carrying pink quartz and black tourmaline and other precious stones backstage during her fashion shows.

She said, “If I told you my backstage rituals, and was honest, you would think I was a little weird. I carry my crystals with me which some people might think as odd but it works for us.” Victoria, who lives in london with her former soccer star husband David Beckham and their four children, runs her self-named fashion brand out of New York and admits that while she's enjoying her success, she still worries about bad omens. “New York works and my team are happy there. We go to the same hotel. But I am quite superstitious. I don't walk underneath ladders,” she said.
