Big B sponsors women athletes
Amitabh Bachchan, who is a United Nations ambassador for the girl child, has sponsored the coaching of two women athletes who will represent the country at global platforms. The 71-year-old veteran has sponsored women athletes Ayonika Paul and Pooja Ghatkar — both shooters — as part of the Medals4India campaign initiated by the NGO Olympic Gold Quest. Olympic Gold Quest is a programme of the Foundation of Sports and Games, started by Indian sporting icons to identify and support Indian athletes with a proven track record and who have the potential to win Olympic gold medals. The two athletes will be participating in the upcoming Commonwealth Games, World Championships, and Asian Games in 2014. The main goal behind the initiative is to help them win the 2016 Rio Olympics. The funds will help with their training.
It (comedy) will be nice if it's funny. Comedy is a very liberating thing. Anything can be funny and I feel comedy is a little dangerous because at times there can be no respect or dignity if it's not shot well

A doting father and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan wants his children to be whatever they wish to be in life without making any compromises to their health and happiness. He calls them “good kids” and is happy that they are “better human beings” than him.
“I would like them to be healthy and happy and do whatever they wish. They should do whatever makes them happy and be healthy. I never ask my children to become an actor or engineer. They can be whatever they wish to be,” the 48-year-old actor said.
Douglas took wife for granted
Actor Michael Douglas says he took his wife and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones for granted before they split last year. But he says he has learnt from this. The couple are together again. He temporarily split from the 44-year-old actress last August, but he insists he's now learnt from his past “mistakes” and has re-evaluated his relationship. “When you are younger you care what other people think. And you take the person closest to you for granted. You waste a lot of energy on strangers to make a good impression. When you're older you focus that energy on the people closest to you, on your family,” said Douglas. Douglas has son Dylan and daughter Carys with Zeta-Jones.
