Tobu Cycles has opened its new marketing office cum display showroom at Jhandewalan. Rajnish Goenka, chairman, Tobu Cycles, who is also the national conveynor of BJP’s small industry cell and Jai Bhagwan Goel, a senior BJP leader, inaugurated the office. The joint MD of the company, Aditya Goenka, who is now looking after the operations of the company, is the brain behind the new developments and growth in the company.
“Tobu has developed 15 new indigenous models which are going to compete with imported Chinese products that have invaded Indian market in the past, and had greatly affected the Indian cycle manufacturing industry, particularly the kids segment,” said Aditya.
“Tobu is going to be one of the first companies in the country to produce world class cycles in vibrant colours. The quality will beat international models and promote Indian production,” he added.Aditya further told that this new office cum showroom will enhance and facilitate contacts and communication with all the Indian dealers and distributors of bicycles.Tobu is planning to increase its dealership network throughout India and expecting to increase its market share by four to five times in a year’s time.
Customers are also trying their hands at Indian brands, which are giving the international ones a tough competition.
