Record holder
Chef Saransh Goila’s television show Roti, Rasta Aur India on FoodFood channel, entered the limca Book of Records recently. The food travelogue moved across India for 100 days, covering 100 cities and staying and meeting people in around 60 cities, approximately over 20,000 km by road. His journey on Roti, Rasta Aur India was about the people of India, the way they cook and eat, their culture and daily life. The objective was to showcase the multi-faceted nation, its people and the rich traditions and cuisine. The culinary journey started and ended in Delhi.
Dream come true
Amitabh Bachchan visited the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil where he sang a song from his popular movie laawaris, Mere Angane Mein, along with Kapil. One by one, women from the audience corresponding to the various adjectives in the song — moti, naati, lambi, chhoti — came on stage and dance with him. During the performance, Sumona’s mom also went on stage. Backstage, Sumona was taken aback to see her mom on stage but was only afraid that her mom would start crying! later on, she went on stage and requested her mom to come back. She told Big B that it was her dream to make her mother meet him and to actually be the one facilitating the meet.
Dare devil
This season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, every week someone gets a new name, and this week it was Rochelle's turn who was given a new name Cockrochelle owing an to a task involving cockroches. Khatron Ke Khiladi takes the danger level a notch higher by making women contestants face their ultimate archenemy — cockroaches. Guahar and Rochelle underwent a task which involved cockroaches and a tunnel. The deeper they made it through the tunnel, the more the strength of the insects increased. While this stunt gave Guahar rashes, it gave Rochelle a new name – Cockrochelle. While the stunt was on, Kushal was more tense than Gauhar. After the stunt, Gauhar was petrified and Kushal himself helped and pulled every cockroach out of her hair. Whereas Rochelle gelled with those cockroaches as if they were her long lost friends.
