‘I want a break from dark roles’
After the success of his latest film Highway where he played the role of a kidnapper, actor Randeep Hooda wants to take a break from doing dark roles as he feels they affect his mood.
“Due to the roles I play people think I'm too serious and cranky. (Doing such roles) is very hard on you as one has to go through those emotions. It affects your life as well as the people around you,” Randeep said.
“I want to try other genres as well. I want to make people laugh. Highway was my first attempt towards a bit of a comic role,” he added.
Aditya Chopra is always going to be my mentor. I am just waiting for the day when he calls me and tells me, ‘Shraddha I want you in a film.’ So, fingers crossed...that should happen soon

Diaz’ comment irks charities
Actress Cameron Diaz has irked anti-smoking charities after confessing at a chat show that “one cigarette once in a while is not going to kill you”.
She left the critics fuming after claiming that cigarettes were healthier than diet coke. The 41-year-old star used to smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day and quit when she feared it was setting a bad example, reports a newspaper.
“I think one cigarette once in a while is not going to kill you. Diet Coke is bad news. I’d rather just drink sugar. It's better for you,” she said on the chat show. “Diaz is deluding herself. One cigarette might not kill you, but before you know it you’re smoking five a day and that’s all that’s needed to give you cancer,” said her book promoter, Chelsea.
