Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, ADC, Chief of Naval Staff accompanied by his wife, Chitra Joshi visited the DG NCC Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt today.
After being received by DG NCC, lt Gen Aniruddha Chakravarty, VSM, the Chief reviewed an impressive ‘Guard of Honour’ by smartly turned out cadets drawn from all the three wings of NCC that is Army, Navy and Air Force. This was followed, by a brilliant, band display by Cadets from Scindia School Gwalior & NER Directorate playing enchanting martial tunes like Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja, Sam Manekshaw, and Waven Flag.
later, the CNS visited the flag area to witness the colourful display of tableaus by states contingents on various contemporary socio-economic themes. He was crisply briefed by cadets on their respective sand models. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief of Naval Staff praised the cadets for presenting an impressive ‘Guard of Honour’.
