In keeping with its mandate to reach out to disadvantaged and underprivileged learners, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) signed an MoU with Pratham Education Foundation, New Delhi for bringing synergy in their efforts to provide academic and skilling benefits to disadvantaged and underprivileged youth and children.
The Pratham Education Foundation, one of the largest non-governmental organisations in India works towards the provision of quality education to underprivileged children in India with activities in 21 states of India. The MoU was signed by Shailendra K Sharma, project director (CR), Pratham Education Foundation and UN Khaware, secretary, NIOS in the presence of SS Jena, chairman, NIOS & heads of departments.
