‘I want to make a film for children’
Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani expressed his desire to direct films for children someday. Return Gift, a four-minute film made by the teenaged son of the 3 Idiots director, is based on a true story of his grandmother. It was well received by school kids, their teachers and parents who watched the film during the ongoing 18th International Children's Film Festival.
“I had never thought about making films on children. But after seeing so many kids and their involvement in movies, I feel I should make one. I would love to make a children's film,” Hirani said after the screening of films made by young directors aged between six and 16.
He was proud of his son. “As a father, I feel good. He (Vir) is shy, he didn't even want me to be here,” said Hirani, who believes technology has eased the process of filmmaking. “If you have a camera on your phone, and a great idea, then shoot it,” he said.

Filmmaker Sanjay leela Bhansali is happy by the opening day response to Ram-leela, which has reportedly drawn a big crowd. “I haven't received so many congratulations in a while. Everybody is saying they like to see such cinema. It's a great feeling when your hard work pays off,” he said.
Oprah refused to go nude for a film
Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey refused to shoot nude for The Butler and she says she had many arguments with director lee Daniels over the matter. The 59-year-old, who plays Gloria in the historical fiction drama, was adamant she wasn't going to bare her flesh in a romantic scene with her co-star Terrence Howard.
“You know, he (Daniels) would have had me buck naked on that sofa if I had let him. He did more screaming than I did — I'm not a screamer,” contactmusic.com quoted Winfrey as saying.
